Description

Hexya is a relaxing casual puzzle game where the player matches hexagons by color. When three or more hexagons are connected, they are removed, and any hexagons underneath will become visible. Every move will increase a progress indicator, where hexagons with a thicker border are worth more. Each time the player reaches 100%, new hexagons will appear and the game continues.

Every time the target is reached, the player gets a Paint bonus. Whenever he runs out of moves, a Paint bonus is automatically applied that will paint all cells of a color, into another. These colors are computed so as to maximize the chances for the player to be able to continue. The game ends when the player has no moves and no Paint bonuses left.

This game requires both skill and luck. Although the player may be tempted to remove a large number of cells in a single move, it is often a better strategy to remove only a few, and leave some to match with any new neighbour hexagons that will be revealed.

A clean, minimalistic game design helps the player relax and focus on the game. A night mode option makes the game more pleasing if played in darker environments.
